Made from heavy-duty cast iron, this double-sided grill plate holds heat and spreads it evenly across the surface, so food cooks consistently from edge to edge without hot spots or sudden drop-offs when ingredients hit the plate.
The flat side creates a solid cooking surface across the entire grill. Eggs, pancakes, smashed burgers, halloumi, vegetables — foods that would normally fall through on grill grates cooks cleanly and directly on the surface. Flip it over and the ridged side brings back traditional grilling, lifting food for searing while allowing fat and juices to drain away as it cooks.
Cast iron gives you steady heat, direct contact, and full control over the cooking surface.
Each grill plate is designed to sit in place of ONE grill grate on the CosmoGrill Emberr 6+1 Gas Barbecue. The Emberr 6+1 Gas BBQ can accommodate up to 3 such grill plates. However, for optimal airflow and consistent cooking performance, we recommend replacing no more than 2 grill grates.

Usage Instructions
When used with our barbecues, this cast iron griddle is designed to be used with adequate airflow. When in use, the entire cooking surface of the barbecue must not be fully covered with flat plates or griddles, as this can restrict airflow.
A grill grate does not need to be used to fill the remaining space. However, part of the cooking surface must remain open to allow proper airflow and ensure the barbecue operates correctly.
Please ensure this guidance is followed during use.
Care & Maintenance
Clean the cast iron with warm, soapy water after it has cooled slightly. Use a non-abrasive sponge for routine cleaning. For stubborn residue, a scrub brush or steel wool may be used if needed. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry immediately after cleaning.
After drying with a towel, it's best to place the griddle plate over low heat for a minute or two to evaporate any remaining moisture. Applying a thin coat of oil goes a long way to help maintain the seasoning.
NEVER place cast iron in a dishwasher as this will reduce the structural integrity of the product, remove any or all pretreated seasoning and likely cause rusting.
