This grill is quite good value for money (and it is cheaper now than it was two years ago) though made of light gauge steel. I reinforced mine with stainless steel cross bracing and one adjustable foot, to allow it to be moved and sited with more confidence and less wobble.
It sits out of doors in a dark corner so is not subjected to direct sunlight or driving rain, but the ashtray nonetheless fills with water (I've now drilled some holes in this to drain) despite the full cover. Not clear where it was getting in, presumably through the stitching. However after scarcely two years the black cover has bleached to light grey, and the fabric degraded so that it is now falling apart and porous.
Not the first Cosmo Grill product I’ve bought, always first class service, incredible value for money and most importantly an absolutely brilliant BBQ.
Had the the Bbq just under 2 years an it's alright. I had only used it a couple of times and the lid buckled. Wouldn't say it was worth the money.
Arrived very quickly. Instructions where simple and easy to follow. Looks great and can't wait for the sun to come so we can try it.
I've given four as I feel 3 is unfair and 3.5 isn't an option.
The grill is pretty well built and has a mostly nice design.
Some improvements could be made though.
A deeper ash collection tray so that any unburnt charcoal doesn't get jammed when removing the tray.
A heavier duty gauge steel for the hot coal tray - it's warped after 3 uses.
A way to either remove or rotate the hot coal tray so it can be easily emptied of remains into the ash collection tray and also cleaned more easily
